From stage to product.

New craft, same instinct.

I spent over a decade as a professional dancer. That's where I learned the things I still rely on every day. Discipline, working in sync with a team, performing under pressure, and, above all, iterating. Rehearsing, trying, failing, adjusting, trying again, until it works. I didn't know it then, but that was product thinking.

When I left dance, I started over. I learned the basics of programming on my own. Then I took a UX course. And little by little, technology, design, people and problems started to fall into place. Connecting the dots, as Steve Jobs would say. At some point it all pointed to the same place, the role of Product Owner. The person who makes sure the team builds the right thing, and builds it well.

Today I start by understanding the people who will use the product and what they really need. With that I decide what to build, and I prototype with AI so it can be tested with them early. I move between the technical side and the user side, and I bring clarity to the teams I work with. When a feature is hard to explain, I prototype it so it can be seen. I understand before I build, and I enjoy the process as much as the result.

And because I never really stopped being curious, I'm now studying physics. Not for work, but because I like understanding how things work and never stop learning. That curiosity is, in the end, what has driven everything from the start.
